Noor Van der Landen(she/her)
Physiotherapist

A little about me:

My specialty is helping people with persistent pain. Having worked primarily in pain rehabilitation and specialised mental healthcare, I’ve learned to look at the whole person to understand what we need to recover.

As a physiotherapist, I have guided many people with persistent pain over the years, which sparked my interest in this field. This curiosity led me to ask: What makes these pain symptoms persistent? Exploring these questions has brought me to collaborate closely with professionals from a wide range of fields, including rehabilitation doctors, (clinical) psychologists, psychosomatic physiotherapists, psychomotor therapists, occupational therapists, creative arts therapists, and body-oriented trauma therapists.

Over the years, I have expanded my skills through training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Mat Pilates, and Myofascial Techniques, and I am currently undertaking the three-year Somatic Experiencing Practitioner training. I have also completed courses in lifestyle topics, including movement, sleep, relaxation, and nutrition, to better support overall wellbeing.

Outside of work, I am passionate about cooking, staying active, exploring new places, dancing, listening to music, and reading - mostly about psychology and philosophy. I have worked in The Netherlands for the last 8 years, and I’m excited to be part of the beautiful Evolving Pain team here in Australia.
