Our Established Clinicians offer DVA appointments
Our Cancellation Policy
This one is always a sensitive issue. Please respect that others may miss out on necessary care if not enough notice is given to fill your appointment time.

We ask for at least two clear business days' notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment, so we can offer your spot to someone else in our pain community.

What counts as two clear business days
Business days are Monday to Friday, not including public holidays. Two clear business days means two full business days need to fall between the day you let us know and the day of your appointment.
For example: for a Thursday appointment, we need to hear from you by close of business Monday.

Fees for short notice
-
Less than two clear business days' notice: 50% of the consultation fee
-
Less than 24 hours' notice, or a missed appointment: the full consultation fee
If you're unwell
Please look after yourself and get checked out. We'll waive the fee with a medical certificate.
Not feeling up to coming in?
You don't need to cancel to avoid a fee. Let us know before your appointment time and we'll switch it to Telehealth or a phone call instead, at no charge.
How fees apply to your payment type
Private, health fund and Medicare (EPC/CDM) patients: The fees above are billed to you directly.

NDIS participants: Whether you're plan-managed or self-managed, this is billed to your plan in line with NDIS guidelines.

WorkSafe, TAC and DVA clients: These schemes cannot cover cancellation fees. Any fee above is billed to you personally, not to the scheme.
Outstanding fees
Any cancellation fee needs to be paid before your next appointment.
How to let us know
You can call us, email us, or use our online booking portal. If you contact us outside business hours, we won't see it until Evolving Pain is next open, so please get in touch as early as you can rather than waiting until the last minute.
Thank you for your understanding. It helps us look after everyone in our care.
