When I entered study and work as a physiotherapist, I always envisioned working in the sports field. I spent time going to courses and learning how to do all the right tests, press in the right spots, and give the right exercises. What I learned was that this worked well for a lot of people, but there was a large group of people where it felt like something was missing.

This led to an ever-growing desire to help unravel some of the mystery and frustration my patients were feeling when these sorts of treatments didn’t seem to help all that much.

In the years since, I’ve dedicated myself to learning more about the science of pain and how clinicians and their patients can harness this knowledge to power up their treatment plans. Whilst helping people with long term pain has become my passion, I love supporting people battling pain and injury no matter when it started.

Outside of work I love exploring the places you find at the end of dusty roads all
around the world. Closer to home I love hiking, rock-climbing and reading about all things science, space, history and philosophy.
