Pain Chats
What is Pain Chats?
Pain Chats is a pilot program starting soon at Evolving Pain. At EVP we strongly believe that increased knowledge about how pain actually works can unlock incredible change for people living with persistent pain, and this is backed by current research.
Understanding questions like;
“Does pain mean I’m damaging myself?”
“Why am I in pain if my scans are clear?”
“Am I safe to move?”
“Why is my pain worse when I’m stressed, angry or tired?”
can really change the way we think about pain and the way we engage with activities that hurt.
Who might Pain Chats be suitable for?
- People living with pain, curious about a different approach
- People interested in what Pain Physiotherapy could offer, but not yet ready to
dive in to 1:1 sessions
- Those with a loved one or friend living with pain, who wants to improve their own
understanding of the complexity of pain
The Goal of the group sessions
To deliver practical education about the science of pain in an informal, group setting focused on looking forward.

Sessions will run for approximately 1 hour, and will be held in the clinic on a Monday at
5pm. Dates to be confirmed once expressions of interest received.
